At Dutch Scoliosis Center, we operate without contracts with health insurers. This means we offer non-contracted care. We apply standard, market-based rates.
What does this mean for you as a client?
After your treatment, you will receive an invoice from us. This invoice meets all the requirements set by health insurers and can be submitted directly to your insurance provider. Depending on your policy (in-kind or reimbursement) and the coverage within your plan, you will receive either a partial or full reimbursement of the costs.
Intake and Treatment Program
The intake consultation lasts one hour and the costs are divided into two components. This invoice covers the time we spend on the intake itself, your medical file, documentation, and explanation of the treatment program. To account for this time, we invoice two sessions: one intake session and one regular treatment session.
Our follow-up treatments consist of:
You will receive a weekly invoice from us, in accordance with NZa guidelines.
To achieve long-term positive results, commitment is required from both you and us — both at our center and at home. Our Schroth treatment program lasts 12 weeks, with sessions twice a week at our location.
If you live far outside the region, longer sessions are possible. We will be happy to discuss the options with you during the intake.
Reimbursement from your health insurance
We choose to remain independent from health insurers so that we can provide you with the best possible care without compromising on quality, time, or personal attention.
For your information: contracted care reimburses sessions of 20 minutes, which is too short for effective Schroth therapy. This is one of the reasons we choose to remain independent and focus on delivering quality care.
If you have questions about the reimbursement amount from your health insurance provider. We recommend that you contact your health insurance provider. For other questions, we are available by email. We are happy to help.
